Donor Recognition
Your generous gift of $150 or more toward the construction costs of the new temple building includes a one-year temple membership, effective from the time of your gift. A cumulative gift of $300-$499 will be acknowledged by a string of prayer flags with your name on it at the opening ceremony.

Cumulative gifs of $500 and more will be acknowledged on the Benefactors' Bodhi Tree, which will be placed inside the new temple building. Cumulative donations of $1,000 and over are also acknowledged in the Benefactors' Garden on the temple grounds. See the following descriptions for more.

The Benefactors' Bodhi Tree
In addition to a one-year membership (see above), each cumulative offering of $500 includes one leaf on the Benefactors’ Bodhi Tree, with your name or that of your family members engraved on the leaf. For example, cumulative gifts totaling $1,500 would include three leaves on the Benefactors’ Bodhi Tree, engraved as you request. The Benefactors' Bodhi Tree will be placed on a wall in the new temple building.

The Benefactors' Garden
His Holiness has chosen a quiet spot on the temple grounds as the Benefactors' Garden. By making a generous contribution to the temple building fund, a flower bed, flowering bush, fruit tree, stone bench, lantern, or statue of a Bodhisattva or Buddha will be installed in the Garden. An acknowledgement plaque recording the temple's appreciation and benefactors' names will be placed in an appropriate locaton within the garden. Contribution levels for acknowledgement in the Benefactors' Garden are as follows:

Perennial flowers ($1,000 to $2,000)
Flower bush ($3,000 to $4,000)
Fruit tree ($5,000 to $9,000)
Stone bench ($10,000 to $49,000)
Stone lantern ($50,000 to $99,000)
Statue of a Bodhisattva or Buddha ($100,000 or more)

Please return to "how to help" page to support the temple building fund by making a donation at one of the levels described on this page.
